i just got it today and the directions say:

For silky smooth straight hair, hold hair straight and taut with brush and blow dry.Is Hask Pure Shine Suddenly Straight a shampoo or what?
Seeing as it tells you to shampoo your hair and then towel it dry before using it, no, it's not a shampoo. I'm assuming it's a straightening balm of sorts.
