What shampoo will make my hair more bouncy, less flat but still gives great shine?

My hair isn't thin, its rather thick. Its just it hangs, and I want my roots to be more lifted and bouncy. I love thick bouncy hair!

To combat limp hair, try using a mild volumizing shampoo formulated for your hair type. Focus the shampoo at the root of your hair. Use warm water to rinse and make sure you do so thoroughly. Use a volumizing conditioner and massage it onto the ends of your hair and not the roots. Avoid adding conditioner to your roots, this will weigh your hair down and cause it to go flat. Towel-dry your wet hair and then allow your hair to air-dry the rest of the way. Do not comb your hair until it is nearly dry. If you blow dry, focus the heat at your roots while your head is upside down for added volume.





For more volume, put your hair in a loose ponytail so that your hair stretches out onto the pillow while you sleep. Do not make the ponytail too tight. You鈥檒l wake up with more volume! Be sure to use a volumizing mousse or spray to secure the bounce.

Herbal Essences makes a shampoo and conditioner that is great for just that, It's called curl something and they come in a neon colored bottle.
Aussie has a line for volume. They have a 2-in-1 and seperate shampoo and conditioner. They also have volumizing mousse. I just used thier shampoo for the first time today before going to the mall and i could tell a difference even with wet hair. They also have a moist leave in cr茅me for shine but the shampoo leaves the hair shiny too.
If your hair is thick and 'just hangs', be careful with your conditioner- only on the ends. As far as shampoo, go for something with volume, usually higher in sodium laurth sulfate (foam).
